A Chandelier for Cardrona Distillery

Crafted as a symbol of identity, status, and deep connection to the land, Full Flight is a bespoke chandelier created by Crystal Chain Gang for Cardrona Distillery. This sculptural work honours the spirit of place, intertwining heritage, nature, and craftsmanship to reflect the soul of the distillery.

Inspired by the karearea—the New Zealand falcon that stands vigilant at the distillery—the chandelier becomes a story of guardianship and presence. Like the bird itself, Full ZFlight is watchful, grounded in the alpine landscape, and alive with quiet power.

Cardrona Distillery gave us the rare opportunity to create a work that not only illuminates a space but tells a story: one of flight and stillness, of tradition and transformation. It is a suspended moment where light, history, and spirit converge.
